Updated: Dec 30, 2018

A gondola ride - The one activity that you should absolutely do is the gondola ride. You can either ask a driver the cost or you can go to www.venicelink.com and schedule one on the Escursioni E Tour page. The latter will save you a few Euros.

Visit St. Mark’s Square – There are many things you can do here from shopping, feeding the birds, having a gelato, eating at the square. It’s the central area of Venice with attractions such as the Basilica di San Marco and Dodges Place.

Ponte di Rialto (Rialto Bridge) – One of the many picturesque bridges in Venice. From the bridge, you can have undisturbed views of the main canal. A great place to sit and have a gelato or even pick up the famed gondola ride.

The Rialto Market – There’s a little shopping area once you get over the Rialto bridge. Here you can pick up your souvenirs, art and all of what you desire in Venice. If you’re looking to cook while in Venice, then the food selections at the market itself will blow your mind. The market is open from 7am-2pm for produce but most other places stay open later.

Ponte de Sospiri (The Bridge of Sigh) – One of the most notable brides in Venice, it connects the Dodges place and the old prison of Venice.

A walking tour of the City – This by far is the best things you can do in the city. The small alleys, great architecture and the cities landscape are enough to keep you occupied. It is by far the best way to see the city. Having a guide doesn’t hurt either, a little history while being enchanted by the alleys and buildings of the city.
