One weekend, I became so overwhelmed that I thought, why not a mini vacation? (Thank you college) Now running away from your problems is never the answer but finding a better environment to face those problems is. When I feel overwhelmed I tend to find a calm place, whether it’s a beach, JFK and in this case a hotel room in Bethlehem Pennsylvania.
I got to the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot roughly after 6 p.m. and after checking in and checking out my room I decided to walk to the Applebee’s across the street to have dinner. When on vacation I try to eat locally but this was more a matter of convenience than anything else.
For the next two days, I stayed in my room and attacked the task at hand, only leaving to eat on occasions. I managed to complete my entire workload and have time to binge on a few Netflix shows.
