The drive takes roughly 45 minutes but in the end its worth it.

Next was Reynisfjara Beach. The beach has amazing views and most notable black sand, hence why it is also known as the Black sand beach. There’s also a restaurant on the beach.

The southern trail to Vik is a part of the golden circle, but instead of driving the whole circle, I returned to Reykjavik but not before stopping at the Strokkur Geyser.

The drive to Reykjavik was a peaceful one with breathtaking views and sheer appreciation for the wild. I really love Iceland.
