As a former Dade County resident, it's always good to be back in Miami. Great weather, great food, and great people are all the ingredients for a memorable time.
My recent trip to Miami was a layover on the way to the Caribbean. I had never been to Wynwood Walls, so I decided to make a trip of it. I first got breakfast in the Centurian lounge, one of my favorite things to do while in Miami international.
I rented a car and drove to Wynwood parked and walked over to Wynwood Walls. I was amazed at the colors. The area is vibrant, with a lot of chic restaurants and art shops. Coyo Tacos is a must when in the area.
Despite the area having a large crowd, I managed to see most of the exhibits undisturbed. Wynwood should be on your to-do list while in Miami but judging by the crowds, my recommendation might be a bit late.
