The end of the travel year pretty much makes us do crazy things. The end of this travel year had me doing a milage run to Honduras to qualify for Delta's Gold medallion status. I spent 24 hours in the city and it might have turned out to be one of my best trips. Best not because of nothing I did but I was with my brother instead of being the solo road warrior.

We landed in San Pedro Sula shortly before three in the afternoon and made our way to security. No visas were required but there was a a health form needed prior to arrival but can be done once there, its just faster before hand. We caught an uber to the hotel and began our tour. We stayed at the Aloft San Pedro Sula which is a pretty good hotel.

We first got food in the lobby as fuel before walking around the city a bit. We first went to the mall for soccer jerseys and then walked to a few neighbourhood spots. As you could imagine the sun was not for the faint hearted but we enjoyed our time none the less. A quick stop at the pool before getting ready to go out that night. The club scene in the city starts late but extends into the morning.

Breakfast at the hotel and the onsite pool table was the rest of the trip before heading home. Even though quick, it was a great trip and I look forward to the next.
