Where do I get a Covid Test in New York City?

I swear this was the most common google search of the past week. A lot of useless information is online and, the procedures for some are cumbersome.

Some make you sign up, give all this information and fill out questionnaires only to say there are no same-day appointments available. I spent two days running around to get tested last week and, here are the best options I found.

Budget

Rapid Reliable Testing: Download the app and add the required information. It then generates a QR code. Then find an NYC Health and Hospital mobile testing site and complete your exam. It took two days for the results and, it is a pretty seamless procedure. And it's free.

Airport Testing: If you're at the airport (JFK) you have two options.

Adams health service: I spoke to a rep on the phone and was quoted $200 cash and the results will be 3 hours or less. They are open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm in terminal one pre-departures.

Xpres Check: At a cost of $250, the results will be in less than 60 minutes. They are located pre-security in Terminal 4. Their hours are 6:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on weekends.

There are more options but these are the three I found that made sense depending on your budget. If you have the time, always go for the free option. That extra funds can add to an experience on your vacation.
